Administrative processing delay time after interview for K1

Is there an average time that the visa is delayed when the applicant's visa states "administrative processing" after the interview? This for a K1 (the K2's show "ready").

It could be a couple of days, weeks or months...we are on ap for 3 weeks and 3 days now, no 221g, passport retained by the CO...unhappy woman here.

Depends, there are 2 types of AP after K1 interview. CEAC will show AP after a 221g for as long as it takes to respond to the 221g. The other AP usually applies to everyone as the embassy is doing final processing. This AP lasted 12 hours for us...

Ours had a status of Administrative Processing for 1 day then it changed to Issued.

I think it's only long if you get 221g, but I'm not 100% sure.

My fiancee didn't mention a 221g, so hopefully it will be fine, but ugh, that sucks. I hope you get resolution to this soon.

AP here for 29 days now... received 221(g) letter coz of medical results which was already there 3 days before my interview.. truly sucks!

She diddn't get a 221g, but it still shows Administrative processing...but it was also a holiday in Manila today, so I guess I couldn't expect it to be updated until monday.

221(g) for the reason that they havent checked my medical results during the interview.. but when i contacted SLEC.. they already submitted it 3 days before my interview.. i actually dont understand why it's taking too long for them to review my case.. called them to ask what's the reason, the agent just told me they are not allowed to give any information regarding the process..

my interview was July 11.. then my medical was July 4.. and SLEC submitted my results July 8..
