I think the lymph node is the bigger problem. Are you on something to get it down? A swollen lymph node can be a very serious problem and I would imagine the Dr would make sure that's not the case. Until it is down a Dr can't possibly know there isn't another problem. Don't stress though it only makes medical things worse just relax all will be ok.

I actually had checked up with the OB and it seems like its not abig deal for her. She just gave me Anti cerv shot, papsmear and the result is normal.. And also gave me a cream to apply, but im having hard time applying it. I asked her about alternative ways to remove it, she just said continue to apply the cream. Im planning to have my medical on August 20, but i still have it. Thats why Im so worried.

I suggest that you find a different doctor. Most likely the "anti-cerv" shot is Guardasil, a quadravalent (promotes immunity for four of the 30+ types of HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), but if given before infection these four strains are responsible for most of the cervical cancer. The problem is that once a human has became sexually experienced and infected with one or four or ten strains, then once infected with one of the strains in the Guardasil the shots cannot convey immunity. Unless you have had sex with only one or perhaps two partners, in essence, it's too late for the anti-cervical cancer shots. By the way, you should have three shots to be effective, generally over six months though I suspect that two shots convey immunity in most cases, though I cannot offer statistics.

If she has you using a cream it is most likely Imiquimod cream. I can understand why you have trouble with it. Imiquimod needs to be applied for a period as long as 16 weeks. It often causes symptoms to become worse as the body's own immune system fights the infection--it is in essence, a super immune booster. There are many therapies for HPV warts that range, as stated earlier in other posts from cryotherapy to Imiquimod, to Podophyllin and others. See: http://www.cdc.gov/std/treatment/2010/genital-warts.htm

Removal of the warts reduces infectivity but does not necessarily remove infectivity.

HPV is very common. It is not likely a reason for denial. It might help to have a signed note by your partner that indicates that the partner understands that it is an infective sexually transmitted infection, but if you've already had sex, the partner is likely infected. Keep in mind that many people who have NO warts can be infected and infective too.

As for the enlarged lymph node: If on the neck oftentimes this points to a gingival (gum) issue or tooth issue. If it is new, you might consider seeing a dentist. Enlarged lymph nodes or lymphadenitis can be a response to bacteria, virus and rarely cancer. I have no clue as to whether swollen lymph nodes might be a reason for refusal but if I were the practitioner I'd want to be sure that some effort has been put into trying to define just what the cause is, so it might be wise to go to a general practitioner, and if she is not alarmed to bring a note from that practitioner.
