huh.png I'll admit, I'm a bit curious, too.

I've only known one person who actually liked their dish service. Several complained about frequent cut-outs, especially in stormy weather, and most had problems with pixilation (like watching TV through a Skype connection for a few minutes), delays when changing channels, things like that. As such, I've avoided dish like the plague.

My inlaws have it, its good, if you're into sports, check out Directv. I can get you some discount on that. Also their DVR is superb. and no big set top box in every room, but dvr access in every room. now no.1 Sattelite based. If you need cable based and need internet too, verizon is best if they're there in your area. But dishtv is the cheapest.

Comcast have very poor customer service is the reason i wont join them and my area sucks huge with the signal they have. I wonder if thry ever updated the signal been few years since i had comcast.

It's a different company now. Everything is digital, just like satellite. The Xfinity platform had a lot of problems in the beginning, but lately it has been working good, and for internet, 50 Mbps is smoking fast!

The two year contract is the byotch. I am still on the first year, so everything is groovy. When my anniversary comes, I will have to see what I want to keep. But now I got HBO, Starz, and Streampix included plus DVR.

i dunno - i suggest you chase after the vendor that has the foreign tv 'package' that your spouse wants to watch. doesn't matter WHICH company that is - as that's the one that will matter.
