After a reasonable 149 day wait, under the stated goal of 5 months, which included an RFE, my I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance was approved by the good folks at the Texas Service Center.

When I submitted my petition, rightfully so, people were going bat $h_t crazy about the delays at CSC and then....Vermont. Wow, how things can changed in 5 months. I had set my expectations for a September NOA2...so I'm delighted that it only took 149 days.

I don't think the folks that work there get thanked enough. We tend to read about cases that are exceptions here on VisaJourney since those are often the folks needing advice or counsel. But, I think the vast majority of cases get processed and approved in a timely fashion without problems.

With that...thanks USCIS!!!

I have to agree. After expecting to not hear anything until October and only having a 110 day wait, I can not in all fairness make any complaints. And don't get me wrong, my heart aches for those who have the excruciatingly long waits, but these are human beings working on the other end. They are going thorugh thousands of cases, and having to scrutinize each one. Surely they know that these people are putting their lives on hold for these petitions to be approved but it isn't something they can control, to push one approval over another etc.

Thank you to those that have been working hard to get all these petitions processed.

[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!

[October 10th] - London Approves and Issues our Visa!!

[October 16th 2013] 4.00pm - Visa in my hand, 11pm POE -Newark
