We filed August 16th and tonight we received notice that our I-129F has been APPROVED. NOA-2 sent today. Let's see when it arrives. FINALLY!!!!!!!

My baby passed the interview today 2013/12/12 in Guangzhou, China. Passport/visa will be ready in two weeks

Woot! Another August filer approved. Congratulations! Try to monitor the progress of your visa processing online as well...We did so for our own sanity.

Also, @Trisha89, I don't think having a lawyer affects the adjudication of your petition. I know a few August filers with lawyers who already got their approval... All the best.

Congrats to all the August filers as well as others. I received the hard copy of the NOA-2 in the mail today. It was approved on Dec 9th. The copy I received was a courtesy copy as the official document was sent to my attorney. I had an email from them today that they expect to receive their copy tomorrow. They also made comment - Please note the NVC is currently experiencing a backlog, so it may take 1-2 months to receive this written confirmation.

I hope it does not take that long. The document expires 4/4/2014.

You can check your Case number at CEAC to check the update. They will update it when they receive the physical case.

Medical scheduled on Dec 16 and interview will be on January 9. Scared, nervous, excited!

It was fast, about 35 minutes, but I've heard from someone else recently who had to wait a couple of hours. I think as long as you have all the required documents and are in good health it's quicker. Maybe it's just a matter of luck. Good luck on your medical!

Vernon's medical took a total of 2.5 hours. The actual exam was only about 25 minutes he said.
