They forwarded mine to NVC exactly two weeks after the approval.

Should be within the week that yours will be sent!

Good luck!

Hang in there Bob and Orlando . We are about a month behind you, and also seeing a lot of September filers getting approved at lighting speed. We hired an attorney (nightmare) and just are watching others fillers fly by with little as few weeks between noa1 and 2. It a test in patience. Just have pride your one of the first. Do you know why your not on Igor list?

I should also mention that we did use an attorney - Lavi Soloway of Masliah & Soloway. He has told me that many of their filings have come back before the 5 month time frame, so we still have hope.

Bob and Orlando, we feel your pain. We got our NOA1 on August 28th from CSC. It's only been 71 days so we know we still might have to wait a while....but every other couple with an August 28th NOA1 (CSC) has been approved (six total) and one seventh couple at least got an RFE already. We, the eighth couple, haven't been touched once since our Alien Registration changed on August 29th. It's depressing and the fact that we're the only gay couple in the mix and haven't been touched yet is even more discouraging. Hang in there!

We also have to realize that there are many more applications being filed than show up on VJ. So it really is the "luck of the draw" as they say. There have been many, many same-sex petitions filed. It is just a matter of time until our turns come up. All e can do is hang in there/ Good luck guys. Watching Hawaii tomorrow. Will it be the 16th?

Got a status change for NOA2: On November 7, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing.

Does this mean uscis sent approval letter to NVC? If so, when should I call for NVC case #? Or should I call DOS?

Thx

Wait a week before you call NVC. After, one week, call everyday..

Remember, NVC has to receive and process your documents, and it takes a little time for this to be done.

Good luck! You're getting closer!)

1) I think it is country specific. Maybe you can try posting your question in your country's forum? For Malaysia, I have to wait for P3 and P4.

2) it is a good time to send over stuff for the interview :) snail mail. Plenty of time for the mail to arrive.
