sorry just want to be clear. I check your timelime and it's 4 weeks from NOA2 to NVC. Y u said 8 day from TSC to NVC?

I think your looking at wrong timeline or date...we got approved oct 7 and nvc received it Oct 16. I received the confirmation letter from nvc on Oct 24 and from noa2 to interview was 1 month tomorrow

I can't even explain the feeling....all I know is she comes home this Friday

Congratulations! You must be very relieved now! I wish you all the best in your future together!

The interview was 5 minutes.

The questions were:

What is your fiancee birthday

What is his name.

Where is he from

Where did you meet

What Is your plans for wedding.

But we got lucky..here is why.

The co said your information is perfect and have lots of info but your missing a certified copy of his divorce decree...folks I recommend going to the courts and getting the decree stamped by county clerk.

Luckily my fiancee responded I have a flight on Friday and everything is perfect and if I knew we needed it, we would have it. After co making a phone call, she tells her we will accept this one for now but we don't do this anymore, you need to come back here to get your visa, it takes two days for courier to receive.

We have to be the luckiest people in the world..Thank god.

Folks get everything you can certified and translated.plus they want to speak English not broken Romanian. Not every embassy is the same, so I'm just giving you our story.

Husband?????

Anyway, back to your question. I received that very same message on Sept. 11th, and then had to wait till Oct. 25th for NOA2. I know others who can tell you a different story (very fast approval after the same message), still, I would try not to think about it too much.

Tha's right, not every embassy is the same, translating documents depends on where you have the interview. In Italy, at the consulate in Naples, they accept documents in both English AND Italian.

So happy for you both, I can only imagine how it must feel!

Hmm, your previous post said that they notified you about an I-129F Fiancee application. If you are already married, my understanding is that you will be unable to do a change of status once you get into the US because your marriage license will be outside of the eligible dates.

In any case, the change in alien registration number is the only update before you get a final decision or a request for evidence. I wouldn't read too much into the date when the alien number changed because it doesn't appear to be a good indicator of your case's overall progress.

Do any members here from TSC who got their NOA2 approvals on the 18th of October, have their case numbers yet? After multiple calls to USCIS, I was able to get my request expedited, but I was advised by the TIER2 USCIS supervisor to refrain from calling NVC everyday and to let the process work its way through. Just an FYI, for all members on here, who are thinking of calling NVC / DOS everyday/ multiple times a day for case numbers.

They seem to have slowed down quite a bit, haven't they?
