Well Jadey I'm with you and starting to get things in order. That way when the embassy wants papers we are ready to go. We have also stared at the NOA1 too many times!

So I called yesterday and all they told me was the same thing that I was able to see in regards to my case. He was telling me each case is different which is why certain cases are approved before others. I dont know what kind of cases others have nor is it any of my business, but i thought that i had put together a binder with ample amount of information then needed and still no approval and we applied the 1st of august. Im happy for those of you who got your approvals. Hoping to hear something on my case soon as well :(

The hardest part is feeling left behind after waiting longer than many others :( Good luck to you. Im hoping for good news by at latest thanksgiving :)

Hi! I got case # today through e-mail. I send I asked first and it was response. NOA2 sept 10.

but I have a question: In the e-mail they wrote this:

This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete.

IS that normal administartive proccesing and they going to send it to my embassy soon?

This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete.

IS that normal administartive proccesing and they going to send it to my embassy soon?

Yes it is. They are preparing the instructions that will be sent to your embassy. They received our case Oct 16 and yesterday Oct 21, status is in transit ( sent to embassy ). You can now start to check it on the ceac tracker site. Average waiting time for this is 5 days.

I think it is a normal AP. They will send it to the embassy in a few days. Call them again after a few days, or you can track your case on the CEAC website. :)

Recieved my case number today. I haven't really been calling them that much, so god knows when it was actually received. NOA2 was Sept 6.

K1 AOS:

May 22nd: Sent away AOS package Day 1

May 27th: Notification via text/email confirming receiving package. Day 5

May 29th: NOA's recieved on 29th May Day 7

June 2nd: Biometrics appointment for June 16th arrives. Day 11

June 16th: Successful Biometrics. Day 24

while i am at it, is there any other way to check the number, all I see on CEAC site is "At NVC". Where does this put me in the process?

K1 AOS:

May 22nd: Sent away AOS package Day 1

May 27th: Notification via text/email confirming receiving package. Day 5

May 29th: NOA's recieved on 29th May Day 7

June 2nd: Biometrics appointment for June 16th arrives. Day 11

June 16th: Successful Biometrics. Day 24

So apparently I do have a case number and our application or case file has been sent to the London embassy. We just need to wait now until my fiance receives a letter in the mail explaining the interview date. So if you got your no2 approved in august I would start calling up your visa center to ask for you case number now.

Tonight I did my usual routine (checking USCIS at least once before bedtime) and I see this:

Post Decision Activity

On October 22, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I had to read it twice before I realized it is the NOA2! I screamed in delight and immediately called my honey to share the news. I AM SO HAPPY!

For those of you still waiting, your time will come soon! This site has been so great and I appreciate reading all the great advice and news!

December 29, 2012: First contact online
January--May 2013: Chatting every day online via skype, viber and Line
May 23, 2013: My first visit to Vietnam and a full 10 weeks together!
July 7, 2013: Marriage proposal
August 1, 2013: Back to the United States after an amazing summer in Vietnam (so sad)
August 16, 2013: NOA1
September 11, 2013: Alien Registration number changed
October 22, 2013: NOA2!!!!
November 8, 2013: Case shipped to the Department of State for visa processing.
November 18, 2013: NVC case number received.
November 21, 2013: Case left NVC. "In transit"
December 27, 2013: Returned package 3 to consulate
February 24, 2014: Scheduled interview online after paying VISA fee at HSBC

APRIL 2, 2014: PASSED VISA INTERVIEW! :)

July 30, 2014: Entered United States on K1 Visa

August 15, 2014: MARRIED

October 16: NOA 1 for I485 and I765
November 6: Biometrics
December 30: EAD approved and mailed
