Similar question...I never got a text or email that we were approved but instead we got.."On October 7, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing.

I called NVC and they said they need something off my noa2 to give me an update.

Does anyone know what they need?

And how long does it take for me to receive noa2 by mail?

I also called Texas to see if they mailed it or to issue a new one and they said they can't for 30 days...I'm going to have a nervous breakdown soon

Well Jadey I'm with you and starting to get things in order. That way when the embassy wants papers we are ready to go. We have also stared at the NOA1 too many times!

On Wednesday our status on USCIS was updated:

"On October 16, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

Congratulations I am wondering the same thing my NOA 2 was also approved on that day

Does anybody know how long does it take to get to NVC and when we should call them for a case number?

TSC and Vermont usually sends them to NVC faster than CSC. Ours took 6 weeks. We started calling NVC after a month from our NOA2 approval date.

It is really disappointing to wait so long and to know there are always people who get approved in 20 or 50 days! But well, congratulations to all of you who made it.....!! And finally can be with their love!

We are waiting since over 2 months for NOA2 and haven't heard anything yet (Only alien # changed!)!

It seems like VCS is working terrible slow! ? ?

09 October 2013 - Alien Registration Number changed

23 January 2014 - Orderd Service Request

05 February 2014 - Answer from USCIS: Can't tell you any timeframe when we will approve this petition

21 February 2014 - NOA2 hardcopy received in Mail // USCIS shipped petition to NVC

24 February 2014 - Medical Appointment - passed the medical :-)

03 March 2014 - Case arrived at NVC

06 March 2014 - We got our Case # & Case left the NVC... Online Status says "In TRANSIT" :-)

10 March 2014 - Case arrived at the Consulate...

15 March 2014 - Received Packet 3 // Sent Packet 3 off same day

22 March 2014 - Received Packet 4 - Interview on March 28, 2014

28 March 2014 - Interview appointment RESULT: Approved :-)))

02 April 2014 - Visa On Hand! :-)

06 April 2014 - Finally being with my Love <3 :)

20 June 2014 - Marriage <3, Key West, Florida

Just got our case number from NVC today -- NOA2 9/6/13, so 6 weeks for case#. Still thankful though, since we only waited 25 days for our NOA2. Ankara, here we come!!!

Hi there Congratulations to all of you on your case approval.. I need some help from you all if you can guide me with any information,......

I filed my k1 petition in starting of august with TSC alien registration changed email on august 28th 2013 and while checking my status online 2 days ago it says again your alien registration number changed on Oct. 16th 2013, since than checked my status may be hundred times anxious nervous don't know what's is next and how long to have to wait...

Is this was the same situation with anyone ..

Count on me..August filer under tsc......good luck to us...and God bless us all..i heard that that tsc is not so fast in terms of issuing the NOA2 but so fast upon issuing the case number..thats what i read mostly here....so good luck to all of us guys....just keep updated and in touch....
