Our petition got approved today too!!!My fiance' and I were talking on the phone when he received a text saying our case has been updated. We got a little crazy right there and then knowing what the text means. So I checked our case on the USCIS site and there it is, APPROVED. We're so happy! Thanks to everyone here!

By the way, what's the next step after this? Should we wait 2-3 weeks before calling the NVC for our case number? Is it really true what others are saying that getting the I129F petition approved is harder than the interview? I am getting a little anxious just thinking about the interview!!!

Thanks again everyone. God is good!

Hi ivanalex1980, we never wrote the specific names on the pictures. We just labelled them as with D's parents, C's parents, C's friends, C's cousins etc...

Hope this helps!

We didn't use a lawyer either, but I did spend some time writing coversheets introducing each section of the evidence to make it easier for the adjudicator.

No lawyer here either. It's really simple. We almost used one. But it seemed like a waste of money. Everything I needed to base my application around was right here on VJ. There are many helpful people here to help with the stuff that isn't quite clear.
