I am thinking off all the documents and stuff that I need to prepare after NOA2 too. Would be nice to have everything ready to be mailed and ticked off the list as soon as we get packet 3

Yes. The embassy in the beneficiary's country will send package 3 and 4

Yep, I'm doing the same thing and preparing all of the documents that we'll have to submit. One thing that I've never been certain about is validity period of things like the Affidavit of Support or the police certificates. I think I've heard of 6 months prior to an interview but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know how far in advance of the interview are you allowed to complete/procure these supporting documents?

We have an update of sorts. I got an email this morning at 2:15 that there was an update on our case. It says" On September 13, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)". It still says Initial Review. Does anyone know what this means?

I received the same update on 9/11.

I've read a lot about it on VJ, and it could mean everything and nothing. Some people got NOA2 right afterwards, some other are still waiting, or have had to wait several months before getting NOA2. I hope we all fall in the first group!

Seeing quite a few of us August filers already getting NOA2s is exciting!!!

I am always particularly appreciative of heterosexual supporters, your words mean a lot.

Of course, I wish you get that A# number soon, but even better, a NOA2 would be great...for all of us August filers (positive vibes and thoughts are always good!).

My partner and I had to leave FL in 2011, and we've been in a sort of "exile" in the EU (where I'm from) ever since. Thankfully the UK is not as backwards on some topics, and he was able to land a UK Green Card almost right away. We're obviously looking forward to going back home to Fort Lauderdale and start back from where we had to stop.

Say hi to our a*sbackwards state for me, thankfully Broward and Miami-Dade are not as bad as other counties.

Hello everybody, we sent our case on August 9. and received our NOA1 on August 15. first via E-Mail and than a few days later via mail the hard copy.

I'm looking everyday online for our case, but nothing new yet.... ?

I haven't seen him since 3,5 months!!! And we finally see each other again on September 27th ❤? can't wait.....

My question is, if it's getting harder for you to get approved when you have been denied by the country one time.... ?

That's what happend to me and is it now harder to get approved?? I didn't do anything bad that by the way! I still don't really know why I was getting denied....

I wish all of you and us a short and stress free visa journey!!! Love is always stronger...❤❤❤

I was denied B1 visa in the begginibg of june and I got approved after 34 days. If it is B1 visa I think it doesnt have influence. I also read other peoples posts.

I didn't had a "visa" at that time...... I travelled to the US with the visa waiver programm.... That most countries in europe have..... It is the ESTA.

They canclled my ESTA Status and told me I could only come back to the US with a ViSA for work or any other Visa that you have to apply for....

We applied now for the I-129f...... Is it getting hardernow to get approved??? Because they canclled my ESTA Status??

Don't worry. It shouldn't have any effect on your K1 visa.
