You scored 92% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 93% Advanced, and 80% Expert!

You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!

Not bad for someone who speaks English as a second language!! But, I have to say I guessed on about 5 of those too... hehe

You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 93% Advanced, and 73% Expert!

You have an extremely good understanding of beginner, intermediate, and advanced level commonly confused English words, getting at least 75% of each of these three levels' questions correct. This is an exceptional score. Remember, these are commonly confused English words, which means most people don't use them properly. You got an extremely respectable score.

OK, I confess, my after-school job when I was a teenager was working as a proofreader for the local newspaper.

The test SHOULD be easy for any educated native speaker, since those are all fairly common everyday words. But I see many of those words confused in print frequently. Of course I see them mixed up often on the web, but occasionally I spot goofs even in published material that should have been both written and proofread by competent individuals.

Sigh, I'm a Publishing Studies graduate and am sad to say that I simply cannot spell, hence my inability to gain 100% across the board. :(

But I guess that's why God invented spellcheck...
