Sorry.

We have received a checkliston on the form I-864. On the parts about our biography (number 3, 4 and 5). We don't received it by email yet, we have just called to them and had known that. So, someone know what is going wrong with that to they ask a checklist?

Part3. Information on the Immigrant(s) You are sponsoring.

Part4. Information on the sponsor.

Part5. Sponsor's household Size.

Well have you reviewed your form what did you put in all the sections? We have no way of knowing what you did so help us help u ? What did you put in the sections that made you get an error?

I mean the Immigrant is the beneficiary, sponsor thats the Petitioner, The size is well thats obvious.

We got a checklist today and this is what NVC said:

In Part 3, Information on the Immigrant(s) You are sponsoring, please correct the following...

[x] Items 2 through 6.f. This case's visa category does not allow accompanying family members; therefore, you cannot

list family members in this section.

WE LISTED OUR SON HERE AS WE ARE FILING FOR OUR VISAS TOGETHER. WE THOUGHT WE HAD TO PUT HIM HERE.

[x] Item 7. The total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 must equal the number of immigrants listed in Part 3, Items

1 through 6.f. In addition, you must also verify that the total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 matches the

number you entered in Part 5 Item1.

HERE WE PUT TWO - MYSELF AND OUR SON

[x]

In Part 4. Information on the Sponsor, please correct the following...

[x] Item 12. As the petitioner sponsoring your spouse or child, you must indicate whether or not you are currently on

active duty in the U.S. armed services.

MY WIFE FORGOT TO CHECK THE NO BOX. THAT IS AN EASY ONE TO SOLVE!

[x]

In Part 5. Sponsor's Household Size, please correct the following...

[x] Item 1. The number of sponsored persons must match the number listed in Part 3, Item 7.

THIS IS NOW GOING TO BE ONE INSTEAD OF TWO, SO SHOULD WE LIST OUR SON AS A DEPENDENT CHILD?

Parts 1, 2, 6-7 have nothing marked. Does that mean they have already looked at those on the original I-864 and they are okay, or could they still send a checklist about those?

We marked two on Part 3.

My wife called NVC and they explained it. My son has to be marked as a dependent child, not accompanying immigrant.

For our son we have to file I-864W, not I-864 because he qualifies for US citizenship through my wife once we get to the US. (We just found that out recently and had no idea there were different I-864 forms for the different cases).
