Our case was completed in Oct.. but we are still waiting for an interview date.. we were hoping for an interview before Christmas, but this now looks increasingly unlikely...

Anybody had a CR-1 interview scheduled recently ?

It is strange and frustrating how some people have got the interview within a few weeks and then others like yourself seem to be waiting forever, I think ours took about 7 weeks. I have read somewhere that the embassy slows down during the winter and they have just had Thanksgiving, which may account for a slight delay. I sincerely hope that you do hear something very soon, it would be a wonderful Christmas present for you

Yup, I only waited for about 3 weeks. But that was in September and they were processing pretty fast then.

In the last month to six weeks or so London has slowed right down. Does this happen very year around this time?

We are applying for a K-3 visa, and we've been waiting for 6 weeks for an interview date. We're hoping to get it done by Christmas too :-) The waiting and not knowing is the worst part of it all- we can't even shop for Christmas presents until we know where we'll be for Christmas!

Yes it was pretty slow last year I think Jon and I waited 8 or so weeks for an interview and then it was at the end of January, Good luck for a christmas date.

I'm applying for a K1 and sent in my final checklist on 28th November. Today I got a reply from the Embassy and an interview date of 15th December, which was a bit of a shock because I had resigned myself to having to wait until after Christmas. So don't give up hope.
