Our first stop in the USA will be Seattle so I am guessing that will be our port of entry, can anyone tell me their experience with Seattle POE?

Thanks,

P.S. Has anyone had any experience with Delta airlines for international travel? Only flew Asiana and ANA prior, and they had excellent service, my experience with domestic flights in USA is wacko.png

Seattle as PoE reviews are here: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/poereviews.php?poe=Seattle&dfilter=0

Looks like no one has reviewed it for a while. :) Guess it's not a popular PoE point.

Seattle is an easy POE.

Delta's Manila-Narita-Seattle route is the quickest way to get you from Manila to Seattle, so it works great for Chinook and me.

It may vary really and for the reason why I really don't know. Seattle was my POE and my last stop for my K1 visa this 2013 and it took me 3 hours in immigration. The lines were long and they had to cater to senior citizens during my time so there were occasional cut ins by the senior citizens along with 5 or more family members. Haha! However, I can say Seattle POE is really nice and easy as Tahoma said. They are strict with use of cellphones so just be patient if your fiance will be delayed for several hours and has not messaged you. There prolly is just a line. :P

The officer at Chinook's POE reminded Chinook that she needed to get married within 90 days.

@emmandenn...what time of the day did you go through the Seattle POE?

**Organizer hat off**

Most international flights to Seattle arrive around the same timeframe (10-noon), so for people who may be experiencing long lines, that is a contributing reason.

Thanks Tahoma,

Was just wondering, did you get to go through with her in imigration line or maybe I should ask did you fly back with her or waiting for her?

Thanks again,

Thanks again,

Chinook traveled solo, and we met up after she was finished with immigration and customs.

I took a week off from work when she arrived in Seattle, and took another week or two off during summer. That way, we had some time together for sightseeing and shopping. When Chinook arrived in March, she definitely needed some warm clothes for this climate.

My wife and stepson had their POE in Seattle, kinda long, the airport was busy. They arrived at the "busy time" Ryan H described.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

"Si vis amari, ama" - Seneca

I was there at 1pm. I got out at 4pm and my fiance was going crazy because I haven't texted him whatsoever as electronics were to be turned off. The checking itself took like 20 minutes. It was just the wait and the multiple cut ins of the senior citizens with their family. Haha!
