Receipt Number: EAC1390XXXXXXXX

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On August 6, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the
Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact
them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS
sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa
Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions,

Is this the NOA2 Letter? If it is not, I never received a NOA2 Approval Email or US Mail Letter. Is it a must to have the NOA2 Letter to proceed or will the process unfold without it? If I must have it to proceed, how do I obtain the letter now?

Thank you for your advice and help!

Congratulations and as the other replies said this is your APPROVAL for the Petition of K1 Visa. As they said, you should receive a 1 page letter stating it is forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC) to determine which consulate will process your visa application. It is in NVC for just a couple weeks then you get a letter saying "shortly the information with be sent to the appropriate embassy" and it will indicate "MANILA" in the letter. But then you will have a CASE NUMBER and you can have your fiancé(e) go online and pay the visa application fee at the bank, go to the St Lukes for 2 days of medical exams. You can even go online or call the embassy to set up your interview date about 24 hours after you pay the fee at the bank. I am sue you know this from reading other posts.

I do recommend fiancé(e) getting the vaccines that they do not have at the local PhilHealth and get the updated certificate there to save a lot of time at St Lukes.

My fiancée has her Interview next week August 13. We are really excited now as it will only be a few weeks until she comes to California.

Take care and best of luck always

Congrats on your petition approval.

If you want to speed up the process, you don't have to wait for the USCIS or the National Visa Center (NVC) to send you anything. In a week or ten days start calling the NVC every day until they give you your MNL case number.

Once you have your MNL case number, pay the visa application fee at BPI. The next day, schedule your Embassy interview appointment either online or through the call center.

Then, complete your medical.

Then, complete the CFO seminar.

Then, when you get your visa, go back to the CFO and get the CFO sticker affixed to your passport.

email is never the 'NOA-2 letter'.

The NOA-2 letter arrives via postal mail.

When you get it, hang on to it - you will need it when filing for AOS.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
