So after all my stressing for nothing (as usual!) my visa interview date has been set for Sept 12th!! woooo!!!

I emailed the contact us section of the embassy site and requested for info on my case. I stated all the dates for medical and when all my forms were sent etc, including my LND number. I got a reply saying that my interview was scheduled and that I had a letter sent out on 6th Aug (Yesterday) with the instructions.

I am now waiting to hear back about whether they have my payment on record as the email also said I should now register on the usvisa site which I have already done so, and just follow instructions. I doubt it but I have asked about the courier too. I'll post if they say what to do about that as I know there was some confusion!

Anyway, happy days... good luck to all still waiting dancin5hr.gif

hi I'm in the same situation as you. Waiting for my visa interview. I don't know if they are processing my interview date or not. I have sent in all my forms (DS-230, DS-156, DS-156k etc) and they have received my medical exam info. I don't know what to do now. I called them many times but only got through once. They told me to log on to their new website, (which doesn't work very well at all!!!). They seem to be instructing me to send my forms again by courier, BUT I HAVE ALREADY DONE THAT!!!

Would you mind telling me what email address you used to contact them. I have had no luck with communicating with anyone in the embassy who seems to know what is going on.

Congrats!!!! I think stressing about nothing is an essential part of this process :) Could you please tell us what date you posted packet 3? It would be really useful as we can then gauge how long it's taking?

I'm waiting for interview date now too. That new courier site is confusing and awful to use. I keep having to reset my password before I can log in, v frustrating.

r3dg3cko rob I sent off my forms on the 11th of July. I went away on holiday and had my medical on the 22nd July.

I set up my account on the usvisa-info.com site on the 1st August and the site allowed me to pay my fees and pick the courier.

I then emailed the embassy at this link harvard and haideruk

http://london.usemba...ntact_form.html

and explained my situation and asked if they could let me know what was going on with the processing of my visa. It took them 5 days to respond to me.

In the email they told me my interview date and said that I had correspondence sent back to me on 6th August which I assume is packet 4, however still nothing in the post. I am hoping it will show up tomorrow.

we got our interview letter today but they dnt mention about any p3 or p4 which we need to send the consulate, can anybody guide us

Best thing to do is to go to the relevant U.S. Embassy site for your country as the advice will vary from embassy to embassy.
