Just another day goes by still knowing in my heart the outcome of my interview will be a denial cray5ol.gif

for honest mistakes made really preparing for a 601 waiver is gut wrenching thing to do after all this long process of the k1 journey

still not knowing the outcome of k1 approved or denied is the worst feeling

but im trying to keep high spirits that there is a chance of being approved on the day id take 10 percent right now instead of comments like your screwed , no chance could get a ban

if anyone has had an experience of having to do a waiver please chime in

i guess it wont harm getting things together

(hope for the best prepare for the worst)

accidental missrep on vwp due to a traffic cone theft i forgot about i feel iv let my fiance and her family down

the poor girl is suffering having to look after her mum who is ill work help pay mortgage ect and needs me there to help with all the bad things surrounding her

sorry for being depressed on here but this is the only place it helps to talk to others and vent some feelings

apart from that i hope everyone is having a splendid day

took a cone from a hedge on halloween to put on my head

was with a friend was wearing it in his car got spot pulled the officer noticed the cone

ask to put it back so i did went on my merry way

3 weeks later i had a letter asking me to go to the station to say yes i took the cone

signed a form and left again (cautioned for theft of a cone from a hedge sad i know and im remorseful for it but never took it with the intentions of keeping it tbh it was more like picking up trash)

completely forgot about it until i got my acpo and subject access forms

and it wasnt me who filed for my vwp it was a family member so i never knew about the crimes

so i accidently missreped myself

and that will cause a refusal of my k1

Have you done you police cert yet? That's no reason for denial what you say is not a major offence.

I see people get approved for worse. You won't have a problem as long as your honest if they ask you.

No live trace and yes i am going to be honest i have my subject access report at the ready to prove its just that one thing

its the misrep from vwp im more concerned about thats why i will be denied nurselling

I don't think you will be denied if you are upfront with everything. I feel you will be approved as long as you tell them what happened.

The only thing is to be honest. Trust me if your honest you will get your visa. There was a guy on here who had a incident with theft and they didn't even ask him anything about the police report. But if they had asked him he was advised to tell the truth and they will still give you the visa.

well he might of just been lucky

and iv always been honest and will be during interview as i felt i have been through this whole process

You will not get a permanent ban unless the thing you misrepresented was a material fact, meaning that it was something, if known, would have led to a denial. A violation like what you have described is petty and likely wouldn't cause you to get denied. So it is not a material fact. Furthermore, when the interviewer sees or suspects a misrepresentation on an application question, he or she must ask you the same question in person at the interview, giving you a chance for a what is called a timely retraction. And if you do indeed retract the misrepresentation, you cannot be hit with a ban.

In other words, be honest at the interview and you'll be fine. :)
