It is looking as though we'll submit our I-130 in mid-January. Now I'm looking for a new job and I'd say chances are maybe 3 in 5 that I'll be moving from a state in the TSC area to another state in the NSC area in February or March.

Both of these service centers transfer I-130 to CSC for processing, right? How do changes of address work in the middle of I-130 processing? Clearly the address the beneficiary will live at will be changing as petitioner moves.

Sorry -- I'm sure this has come up but I didn't see it as I poked around the site of ran some searches.

Submit a change of address request once you move. Dont worry about it, it is a very simple request that is handled quickly at an easy time of the process to have changed.

If you plan on moving consider using an address like a parent or other relative for correspondence, that way important documents like NOA2 forms, RFE ect won't get lost. Moving should not affect the process.

Chang of address form needs to be followed up by phone call to the USCIS. Many call twice to confirm the change, trusting the form to get it done can be a problem.

Personally, I would never apply using a location not your own - heck, that is worse than doing a change of address form for many reasons!

This is one of the simplest, quickest and most reliable form submissions you could do. I personally have had to submit one 3 times myself and 1 time for my current wife as the beneficiary. All times NO problems, immediately received a confirmation via snail-mail.

File normally, with your current address, and update as the Government instructs using the proper forms. NO complications, no lies, and easy - dont rely on shortcuts or creative ideas when it comes to receiving your visa coorespondence!
