Approved Visa but having problems with new visa system!

We had our immigrant visa approved on Friday and registered for the visa courier service that afternoon. However, when we go back to the Visa Appointment site, it says that our status is still "attend visa appointment" instead of "visa approved". This is 3 days later. We still haven't received a tracking number for our visa and there's no number to call to find out about what's going on. Has anyone else had any problems with this?? We need to fly out next thursday for the US so we need the visa by next weds, which is 8 working days after our interview.

It says "Issued" on CEAC and that was dated August 2nd. But the visa interview setup, payment and tracking system still says "attend interview". That's why we think there could be an issue with the system.

Have you had a call from the embassy yet to arrange delivery?

Nope, not yet. The first 2 days we called the new embassy number and after 45 minutes of holding, it cut off. I don't think anyone was there to answer as they changed the call centre folk. And then in the last 2 days we've been able to speak to people who were really unhelpful and dismissive, until today when the adviser was much nicer and admitted that there may be a problem, saying it's very strange that we haven't heard anything yet. She said to email the address on the website (which took us a long time to find) to tell them of any delivery issues. Of course it'll take 3-4 days for them to respond, in which time we'll be missing our flight to the states.

It seems we're stuck in a Kafkian rut on account of bugs during the crossover. This is getting really infuriating.

Ring the consulate and explain. If your lucky you may get someone who will actually try to help.
