Interview Scheduling for Havana, DR, etc.

I've been following the NVC threads since I am somewhat close to finishing the steps needed at the NVC.

I noticed that some filers that got case completes in June for the DR are still waiting for their interview dates. Crazy! Is that typical?

I'm anticipating if all goes well a case complete in Aug. Just wondering if others that have moved on to the interview phase can share how many months it takes to get an interview in Havana. Is this carribean location just as busy?

Thanks for your input.

Thanks Tila! It's not so bad given the dates noted on those past timelines.

We are sooo close. I messed up on my AOS (EZ form) so I'm now on business day 10 waiting for my checklist to be reviewed. My IV packet (DS-230) was accepted on 8/9/13. So I'm thinking we should have a case complete by end of month. So if all goes well I don't see why we can't get an interview for Oct or Nov. As previously discussed, the big question mark is whether they will let him go on the "other side". I hope there is no snag and no AP. grrrr! I'll keep you posted. Trying to keep my timeline updated so that those that are waiting for NOA2 for IR1/CR1s know what they can expect. Trail blazing since the Jan 2013 Cuba immigration changes.
