The high end clubs in Tokyo are full of Russian hookers. I had to explain a $1500 tab at some club in Tokyo to my boss, when I turned in my expenses after my first trip to Tokyo. Thankfully the same thing happened to him and some other guys from the company on their first trip there, so he was understanding and had them pay it.

The Thai clubs generally try to pass of girls from Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan as Russians. Scratching my head wondering why someone would fly all the way to Thailand to shag some Russian wannabe girl for the twice the price of the local Thais, but they seem to do well in places like Pattaya.

ETA: No I didn't shag any Russian hookers in Tokyo. That $1500 was for some bottle of booze I allegedly bought for them.

It is not unusual for non-hookers to simply walk up to you in a club, grab your junk and say "let's go" There is usually alcohol involved. I wonder, would you expect the average level personal debt as function of income to also increase inline with inflation? If the FED is pumping Billions in the financial system every month, but with wages either stagnant or falling who benefits the most?

It's relative to inflation. Would your parents be happy getting 5% interest rate on a CD if inflation was 10%?
