Approved 20th July, no update on USCIC since then saying transferred to NVC?

Hi guys,

Tried to search for this but couldn't find someone with the same problem.

Our case status hasn't hanged since our approval. I'm calling NVC everyday to see if they've recorded our case, and nothing yet.

The current update on USCIS just states 'we have approved this i129F ...' And it's been that way since.

Shouldn't this have been updated to say transferred to NVC? :/

We received out I-797 on July 22nd, it's just frustrating being out of our control now, but we can deal with that. Patience has been a virtue with the whole process!

I was just questioning that we've had no update to USCIS since then, I've seen people with approvals and the same day it states on the case status that the file is being sent to USCIS, whereas our case says nothing of the sort

We were approved July 3, 2013 and it was forwarded to the NVC July 24... You'll get there... We just called the NVC today and they said they sent my package to the embassy August 2... I called my embassy and they said it's not there yet, maybe next week...

Just be patient...I know how it feels when you don't know and you have no control over it....

We haven't gotten any update on line.Mot even for our approval. We were also transfered to TSC and approved July 24. but our case doens't even show Post decision activity on the USCIS website. It still says Initial review and when I have called they tell me that that doesn't matter. That we have our NoA2 and should be happy with that and wait up to 90 days for it to be transfered. ranting33va.gif So not impressed as they won't even talk to me since I am the benificiary . I have been calling DoS to try and get our case number, but it hasn't even been shipped according to them. I am not a patient person and this has been a huge test for me.

Also approved on July 24. Called uscis tier 2 officer. He old me he sent a message to TSC TO RESPOND TO ME WITH INFORMATION ON MY CASE BY THE LATEST August 17. They speed up the noa2 approval and slows down the nvc process. What's going on with my tax dollars?

Once the petition is approved, that will be the last status you will see on the USCIS website. You will need to call NVC to see if they have the approved petition and package. Once they have it, they will assign an A number and then send it to the embassy/consulate. It can take anywhere from 2 weeks on for this to happen.

Once they have it, they will assign an A number and then send it to the embassy/consulate. It can take anywhere from 2 weeks on for this to happen.

Mine isn't even showing the Approval. Or that it was sent to NVC. I have been calling the Department of State as I was told they will know when it has been sent. So far they have nothing, and they are very friendly. I may try the NVC and see if maybe i get something different from them. It will be two weeks since approval tomorrow.

They will have the information that it has been sent and the Case number will be in their system. I have seen a ferw people say that the USCIS says that thier status is Post decision - Your approved petition has been forwarded to NVC. I would love to see that.

If you were approved July 24, they will probably ship it sometime this or next week... Ours took exactly 3 weeks...

Yes they do... It takes around 3 weeks after your approval...

Grr... Pulling my hair out with this.. I know I should be grateful the most part is over, but can't help be upset once approved that our case is just sitting somewhere again.

I'm pretty sure it's not just me in this situation, waiting 3 weeks for our NVC case number, I called them again this morning and still nothing.

Our USCIS update still just says:

On July 25, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

.. Even though we got an approval message on 7/20 too. It doesn't say anything about forwarding to the NVC. Will our USCIS online information definitely change to show sent to the NVC? Or may it stay as is?

We received our I-797 letter July 23rd, can anyone tell me, does this mean its 100% approved and there's no further issues?

NOA2: 07/24/13

NVC case number given: 08/16/13

NVC 'Ready': 08/19/13

Medical: 08/31/13

Packet 3 forms submitted before receiving letter: 08/20/13

Packet 3 letter received: 09/05/13

Medical results logged: 09/05/13

Packet 3 documents logged: 09/19/13

Interview date assigned: 09/25/13

Interview date: 10/01/13 (Approved)

Due to collect passport from the Embassy (arranged 10/04): collected from London Embassy 10/08/13 (day before my flight!)

Flight/POE: 10/09/13 - Minneapolis

GOT HITCHED!! - 11/01/13
Filed AOS - 11/05/13

EAD received - 02/27/14
Green Card received - 06/12/14

Grr... Pulling my hair out with this.. I know I should be grateful the most part is over, but can't help be upset once approved that our case is just sitting somewhere again.

I'm pretty sure it's not just me in this situation, waiting 3 weeks for our NVC case number, I called them again this morning and still nothing.

Our USCIS update still just says:

On July 25, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

.. Even though we got an approval message on 7/20 too. It doesn't say anything about forwarding to the NVC. Will our USCIS online information definitely change to show sent to the NVC? Or may it stay as is?

It will change to "On July 24, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

July 24, 2013 in my case... Your's should be sometime around this or next week... We were approved July 3.
