Hi, we've already sent out our AOS and IV package in 2 seperate emails, We did get like 2 checklists for the AOS and we responded promptly. Now this morning, We got two seperate emails which were replied to the original emails we sent out to send our AOS and IV Pacakges? Can anyone help what do they mean? They don't look like checklists . coz checklists specifically say checklist cover letter in the subject line from NVC.

Here are the two emails in response to our both emails, both seperate.

Email 1 - In Response to Supporting docs for DS 260

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: MTLXXXXXXXXXX filed by PETITIONER NAME on behalf of BENEFICIARY NAME.

We received electronic documentation for this case. Please allow up to 20 business days from the day the email was sent for the scanned attachments to be uploaded to the electronic case file and reviewed.

IMPORTANT:

Do not let more than one year pass without contacting the NVC concerning this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submitted fees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

As this case is processing electronically, all forms and documents must be sent via email as scanned attachments to NVCElectronic@state.gov. Sending physical documents to the NVC will delay the processing of your case.

Petitioner's Name: XXXXXXXXXX

Have you read in the monthly NVC thread? There has been some discussion about checklists for electronic processing cases. That might be some help to you. The e-mails you show seem to be the standard reply that they are reviewing documents. Some received checklists because the NVC hadn't opened the emails containing civil documents yet. You can always call the NVC.

I am following the threads, i have talked to NVC like 4-5 times in regards to the checklists they sent me. I will call them again to see what's going on.

Normally, the rep at NVC can check in a specific case number to see if there are any unread emails. and last time I called them, they had caught up on all my emails. Not sure what these 2 emails mean then

When I received those emails I took it as a review of my case documents and my case complete was 4 days later.

1 is normal.

2 is a mis-print, if yer thinking it really is 'the response' about the I-864 submittal. Usually the I-864 submittal response contains the word 'support' in it. This one did not.

Since it's the same SERCO contractor, ANNIE, Lets just assume she's massively confused, or lazy, as the emails are exactly the same.

I've obfuscated versions of the emails in my NVC Roadmap topic in the China forum - have a look when you have some time?

Questions to ask to the NVC Callcenter:

1. what date were the files in the email for (AOS or IV) detached?

2. what date were the detached files slung over for review?

3. which set has been added to the casefile and when?

4. what's been added to the safefile version of the casefile, and when?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
