Ross Township in rural Pennsylvania is the kind of place that, in the words of one county official, is "never in the newspaper."

Monday night changed that. Police said a resident with a grudge rained hell at a town council meeting.

By the time he was subdued, Rockne Newell had fatally shot three people and wounded several others, police said.

"According to the Pocono Record, Newell got a building permit from the township to have a storage structure on his property, but then built a residence without getting a proper permit.

It said neighbors filed complaints about the property, including one of human fecal matter in buckets, the Record said.

The township ruled he was improperly disposing of sewage with no septic system, according to the newspaper. Newell said he couldn't afford septic hookup fees, it said."

I'll never understand how property battles can infuriate people to the point of killing.

My witch next door neighbour went and reported me, anonymously, to the management company that I am running a chop shop, auto mechanic repair business as well as auto body paint shop in my garage.

Why? Because I dared to park in "her" parking spot which is actually one of five first come first served parking spot but she has to have that specific one.

Some people are just nuts, batsy, half cracked or possibly dropped on their head when they were infants.

PS: I am an IT Guy for a major SoCal HMO so she made it all up though I am repairing my classic car inside my garage which is compeltely allowed. But she has to play it up to be more than that to get the management company to react.

When I had the misfortune to to live in Texas. I had a neighbor turn me in to the city for building a shed that was over 100 square feet.

When the city Inspector came we measured 88 square feet and I got commended for building a kick ### shed and he said he wished some of the contractors paid that much attention to some of the houses he inspects.
