I'm hoping someone can help here, as the US embassy hasn't been able to do anything for me.

Basically my visa was approved last Monday, 29th July, the person who approved my visa said that I didn't need to go to the courier company, as someone would call me within one or two days.

It's now been 8 days since my interview. Anyone I speak on the embassy helpline can't help, and the dx group state they havent received my documents yet.

The worst thing is that I'm meant to fly in 8 days time and I still havent heard anything back, and can't seem to find out any information.

It's a k1 visa by the way.

Sorry to hear that, I am on the same boat. But, me case is a bit different as I had my interview back in January, my visa was refused, I had to apply for a Waiver and was approved. Because of the amount of time, my medicals expired and I had to re-do it. It was done and received and the embassy on the 31st July and also my passport via DX. Since them, I haven't heard anything and I don't know which other way to contact them.

I'm somewhat out of the loop since the London step is now 2 years ago for me but I thought they recently changed away from DX Secure and that you now have to book the courier online. Check this forum - I want to say that Nich-Nick posted something about changes in the process a week or so ago...

I had a phone call from them today and the new company took over on august 1st. Dx group told me it would still be themselves contacting me regarding getting it back.

Emailing the embassy is beyond useless. ive had two email replies now telling me about non immigrant visas.

I was also interviewed in London on 29 July! I was the frazzled looking woman with four small boys in tow so you might remember seeing me.

We had only had our medicals the previous day so we obviously could not be approved on the day. We were told the visa would take up to 10 working days to be issued so that would be this coming Thursday. I was also told that at that juncture the courier company would phone me to make the arrangements for delivery of our passports and visa documents. Of course, we have been hoping that we might be approved earlier than that but so far that has not happened. I am actually none too hopeful about a phone call this week.

I will be looking out for you receiving everything since I should be on the same timeline as you.

Best wishes

Laura

Does your CEAC status say "issued"?

Hey lost_at_sea

I had my interview on Wednesday this week ( 2 days ago ) CEAC says Issued, but no visa as yet.

I am hoping mine comes this week as i have my flight booked for 27th .

So does Issued mean they have done it and sent it ??

Thanks.

"Issued" means they've printed your visa and put it in your passport. Most folks get their passport back within 10 working days (assuming their status goes to "issued" in the first couple of days, like yours has). You should be hearing something from the courier, if I understand correctly.
