Hi again,

I've been doing some more reading. Since both of us live here in denmark will they accept my husbands income here in denmark in the I-864 form? Or will they only accept income from the US? Does anybody know or have any experience with this? Please help.

They look at the numbers on the IRS return, hopefully he did do his returns with the IRS, living outside of the country dose not exclude an American from filing a yearly return.

Also needs to show maintaining domicile in the states.

You can read the DCF Guide here at VJ for some tips on the I-864 (let me now if you find broken links).

Income does need to be coming from a source that will continue once you move to the US.

You can also use assets in lieu of income if you don't have passive income and USC doesn't have a job yet.

It can all be done.
