D. Other information

2. Have you ever filed a petition for this or any other alien? Yes_____________ No______

If ´´yes´´ give name, place and date of filing and result.

In 2010, I filed a petition (I-129F) for my ex fiance. The petition never got approved.

Do I check yes or no?? The petition that I am now filing is I-130 for my husband.

You have to answer yes, give the name and state that the petition was never approved.

It would be better not to lie just in case they start looking and if they find something that you haven't responded honestly too, it might be a problem.

We filed the i129f for k1 and cancelled it. We mentioned it on the i130 with no issue. It's not a problem to have had old petitions.
