Last I heard on Wisconsin Public Radio, passed the democratic senate but hung up in the republican congress.

Just my opinion on this subject, can see if for young kids that were brought here illegally and this is the only country they know. But not for the parents that brought them here. They broke the law. Was a case here in Wisconsin when immigration became an issue to get our minds off Iraq, where the feds were doing nothing. So Wisconsin came up with laws, stating that any child entering our university had to show proof of documentation. A brother and sister were brought here where their parents slightly overstayed there visa, like twenty years when the were 1 and 2 years old.

Deportation came up for these two college kids, and the opposition said, they don't even know either the language nor the culture of their home country. But then it dropped from the news and never did learn how it ended. Stepdaughter attended that same college and had to show her green card before she could even apply. Something our state just started.

Kids that are born here from illegals, well that say undocumented persons to be politically correct, are automatically US citizens. If caught, they will deport only the bread earning father. Not the mother, someone has to take care of those kids. But then she is not permitted to work, but can get welfare. Gives one the opinion our leaders are not the brightest people in the world.
