Multiple Residences on 751

HI All,

My window for i751 has opened and I am filing within the next 2 weeks. I had some quick questions regarding multiple residences

1. For about 6-8 months I and my USC wife were working in different cities about 2.5 hrs apart. My USC spouse got transferred to another city where her mother lived while I took a room in the city of my work. I would visit my wife every weekend or every otherweekend at my mother in laws. I did not sign any lease for the room i rented where i worked and always had my MiL address as my mailing and other addresses. Do I need add that room residence on my 751 ? It may have us look seperated....

2. Also I had changed my address about 2 months back different from my USC wife due to issues with my mail being checked by others.

Now both of us have leased a new apt. and it has both our names on our lease. During the first yr of our marriage we had common lease too.

Just my opinion, I would only list your current address for mail. If your ID/driver's license has other addresses you will need to list those. To give you an example, my gal and I have also lived/stayed in multiple locations. She got her 10 yr GC with no problem, no RFEs and no interview. Just make sure you include all necessary/required info. and evidence. The USCIS is only concerned with the information you provide them with and what they can find via legal resources. Best of luck!

Do not lie or withhold information. Just explain everything that you just stated. If you get an RFE or an interview, so what? You have nothing to hide and your circumstances don't sound suspicious at all. Again, do not think of lying about anything. Your residence is NOT just where your mail is sent. Good luck!
