Hi,

I am trying to bring my parents in UAE in visit visa. I sent them I-134 but now noticed that it has a mistake. For some reason I wrote 'Electronic Commerce' instead of 'Seattle' for City under my Company address. IThere is no option of sending them another copy as it is Ramdan time in UAE and Courier will not reach them in time i suppose and their interview is on 15th August. CAn I ask them to make a single strike on 'Electronic Commerce' and write in black ink - Seattle. ?

Please advice...

First, YOU do not bring your parents. THEY must apply for a be approved for a tourist visa on their own. You may actually want to call them and have then not submit the I-134 form. THEY need to show strong ties to they home country and that they will leave the US. They need to show that they will not use the tourist visa as a way to get to the US and stay. Having achild in the US puts one strike against them as the CO will think they will come to vist you and remain in the US. Thanks to all those that have gone before your parents, the US is highly suspecious of people from certain countries applying for a tourist visa. Your parents need to over come that they are guilty until they prove otherwise.

Good luck,

Dave

I understand that Dave but I am sponsoring their visit to the US and I-134 is a must as per http://www.path2usa.com/visitor-visa-guide/documents-for-sponsor . Many of my friends have also provided the same for sponsoring their parents' visit. My father has job back in UAE and he is providing his job employment letter and also his property tax receipts. Now I am worried abt how to make the correction.

I did not file an I-134 to bring my MIL or my then fiancee on a tourist visa. The website you linked to is just another information website like VJ. The only official site I would trust is the UAE Embassy website for tourist visa and where they say you are required to file an I-134 before I would panic about trying to make a correction. You could have them line it out with a single line and hand write in the correction. Most Embassies do not require anything from a person in the US for a tourist visa. The I-134 is not a legally binding document. You can accomplish the same thing by e-mailing them an invitation letter stating you will provide for their expenses while they are in the US. I did not find anywhere on the UAE website that states they require the I-134 for a tourist visa. The intending tourist needs to qualify for the visa on their own and that includes having the money to pay for the trip.
