NVC Journey: NVC Process (4 months from NOA2 - case completed)
04/04/2014 Call NVC and got both parents case # and IIN #
04/07/2014 Complete DS-261 for both parents (Choice of Agent), Got email from NVC to pay Affidavit of Support (AOS), AOS Paid online, $88 fee
04/09/2014 IV Paid online, $460 fee both parents
04/12/2014 Complete DS-260 for both parents

hi, St. Lukes hospital will not entertained the beneficiaries if they do not have a visa appointment letter from nvc and or printed copy of email from nvc... regards, John

Hello Lovers and everyone,

DS-230 part 2 says the signature has to take place before a consular officer. You said you got your parents to sign theirs ( I am petitioning for my father) to sign them and send them back to you in order to process them.

Could you confirm they can sign them prior to their interview , and if yes , did they notarize DS-230 at the embassy ( by taking a US embassy notary appointment)

Please let me know , I would like to start working on it ASAP

DS-230 they can't sign that part 2 , wait until the interview, its say's thier dont sign, sign that after the interview,

The only part the parents sign is the page2 . U dont need to notary the ds_230...

That's where my papers are. I called a few weeks back and the lady said all she could tell me is that focuments are at NBC and I will be notified if anything ele is needed. Still listed as inital review. I'm ghost lad yours was approved so fast. I wonder if it makes a difference what county my mother in law is in.

Im just wondering, i already paid the $230 and they required me to do the form ds-230, but they still didnt send me the form for affidavit of support. Do they send that last or did it get lost in the mail or something?

What you mean that they didn't send u a form AOS?

1. Go to the uscis website find the AOS new form and submit. Together with the cover sheet
