Not true here. I work for a Canadian company and the local maint guys hate the Canadian engineers and leaders. But then they hate the Michiganders too. Then again, they also hate each other. Nothing runs the state of KY quite like ignorance and hate.

Michigan is filled with people from Kentucky. At least it used to be. They even had names for some of the suburbs. Like Taylor-tucky or Wal-tucky.

My husband thought the same thing, growing up in Chicago.

His first trip to visit me over Christmas, he brought this flannel jacket thing. I asked him where his winter coat was and he said that was it.

The first hint the bus is stopped is they say in the video that it started when the victim got up to get off the bus.

1. I don't think it's a race issue. It doesn't matter what color your skin is, if you're dealing drugs you're probably beating up kids who rat you out.

2. The driver was old and probably unable to overpower the kids. He did call for help.

Ok, first of all I can't see the race of kids since I am at work and we can't look at the video, all I can see is the text which says nothing about the race. Second, they didn't beat him up because he was white, they beat him up because he said the one kids tried to sell him drugs. If you're going to have this talk with me, come correct or stay home.

With the viewing of this and thousands of other such incidents via video, the housing boom will continue as people do everything they can to relocate to areas were these things almost never happen. Moving to a better school district is code word for "Less black."

When these families move they take their tax dollars and social capital with them, leaving behind a population which votes for leaders which are not only more corrupt but less capable to manage a school system, city hall or even keep the city parks safe.

And second, I think the bus driver should have intervened before letting that child get beat within an inch of his life. Happy now?

Plus, this isn't a race issue. The reason for the assault was posted in the article. If that wasn't in there, I would say those kids should be charged with a hate crime and the bus driver for letting it happen.

The bus driver was 64 years old, they would have wore him out if he tried to intervene. He called for help, which if I read the article correctly, that was what he was supposed to do. If the drug reason wasn't there and they just wailed on him because he was white, I would agree with you. But it's not.

Kids that age,sex and race represent about 3% of our nations population but account for over 50% of murders.
