no, i didn't make a 'leap' at all. the video shows 3 black boys that tower over the 1 white kid all jump him at once & the black driver does nothing until the assault is over.

the reason given later (by someone) was the white kid presumably told officials at the school one of the three attacker tried to sell him drugs. do you think during the set up for the assault, the one kid that was supposedly told on asked for help to silence his accuser? or do you think the recruitment was centered around kicking whitey's ####?

and i stand by it. he had no problem going back there afterwards did he?

Snitching never goes over well in any setting. I blame the teachers for not protecting the kid that ratted out the entrepreneurial "job creators".

Race isn't a factor here; it's the snitch factor. No kids like a snitch and usually beatings follow that kind of activity.

The fact is that the school should have protected the kid after he turned in the dealers. Come on, they thought there would be no repercussions when they rode the same bus home?

The kids ought to do some time because they are punks for rat packing the kid.

The snitch needs to do more covert work or he'll suffer the same beatings in the future. Actually if he did that in prison he's get some steel in his side.

Those kids and their parents need some serious counseling.

Is the nation as a whole promoting the idea that "soft weak males" should be the new protected group?

I never thought the GOP base would be "pro war", "pro Guns" and "pro soft males" at the same time.

What happened to getting toughened up? Is that just too extreme for us humans...but shooting is the preferred retaliation in fearful situations?

I don't get it where the country is going.

Sure the kids behaved horribly...but lets not think for a moment that we are that civilized in this country. Hell, most of the time we're not even civil.
