There were 266 black priests, over 11000 case of sexual abuse. There are are over 40,000 catholic priest. The rest are white, hispanic, asian.

In the US right? So, we'd need to know which ones were real cases and what the percentage of each remaining race was so we could compare with US population. Wouldn't there still be a deviation for demographic make up of Catholic church VS US?

Its too big for me to do a real study on it. Some of them are quite old cases and there appears to be an intermingling of accused with guilt. So its hard to know who really did anything wrong. I'm not willing to say if someone is accused, they prob did it and I doubt you would.

Nevertheless, In order to put this into perspective, we would need to see a few things, world wide confirmed cases with ethnicity as a overall comparison, percentage of whites in the catholic church wearing the cloth verses current percentage of whites in the US from year to year. Those would be the figures we need to exonerate or condemn.

You know what I found interesting? In all the articles concerning this scandal, they refuse to tell you the race of the abusers. I know 80% were male, and they break down everything from age, time line, sex and other various details, but they won't say how many were white, black, asian, hispanic.
