How many days it takes the case to get transfered from local office to NVC?

Hi everyone.

We got approved 11 days ago and got our noa2 within few days in mail. How much more time will it take for case to get transfered from uscis to NVC? My fiance called NVC they say they dont have the case yet. For how long we must wait for the case to reach NVC and the from there to my home country? Wanna be together asap.

I got approved on July 23 and NVC does not receive my case. I called USCIS to check if my case has shipped to NVC yet but Tier 2 said I need to wait 30 days to call NVC again. They told me it does not show the approval has sent to NVC.

Just be patient, sometimes it takes up to 2 weeks or even more from what I have heard, ours was approved on the 17th, NVC recived it on the 28th and it was mailed out on the 29th to the consulate. Am sure they get it soon

Correction NVC recived it on the 26th and case number was given. So am sure they have it before the end of the week.

We got approved two weeks ago, still nothing. IDK what's taking so long. Some people get their petitions forwarded within a week. It's a bit frustrating, you know? Waiting.. and waiting.. we'e trying to push the interview by the end of August, but I guess that's not gonna happen.

1-800-375-5283 . Dont choose the language and just wait for a bit to get to Customer Rep. Then tell them that you want to talk with Tier 2.

We received NOA2 on July 8th and still no sign of ours being forwarded 4 weeks on to the NVC. Been calling every day for the last 3 weeks and they keep saying "it can take up to 8 weeks".

Ours took over a month before NVC acknowledged the receipt - every time we spoke to them they said it can take up to 8 weeks. I think some of this may have been down to forms being sent to the wrong place and redirected but still a long time to wait for no reason.

I ran into the same issue. I have a friend whose case was transferred in 2 weeks. Mine has been sitting for 3 weeks now. I spoke to someone at the NVC who told me the USCIS informed them that all case files will now take 8 weeks instead of 3 weeks. No idea why. :-(

I got approved on July 2nd and the NVC received it on the 29th, processed and sent on the 31st. They're backed up so normal forward times aren't applying. Don't be nervous!
