I applied for my "fiancé" to come here over a year ago from Morocco. Turns out he deceived me just to get here. I did not see this coming! If anyone wants to know any details I will share. I need someone to translate some Moroccan Arabic for me. Please help me. I cannot stop crying and cannot believe what has happened.

I am so sorry for what happened to you. Do not act with emotions right now. There is time to grieve later. Right now you need to find the truth.

There is a place you can pay for translations

Or go to a mosque that he does not go to and is far from you and ask someone there to help you

But best to pay a translator who is on your side

I know one name is ABS translation service

According to your timeline, he hasn't entered the US yet. Is that right? Did he enter without notifying you, and with no intent to get married? Is he still in Morocco with a valid visa, planning to enter the US? I don't have phone numbers/contact info, but I know they've been posted on this site before. If you haven't taken any steps to either prevent him from coming or alert the right authority that he's here illegally, then you need to do so ASAP.

Very sorry this is happening to you.

First things first, try to relax.

Second, I was going to suggest you did a quick post on the MENA regional forum to ask for help, but I see another poster has already offered to help you with the translation you need, so hopefully you have found the help you were seeking.

Third, if he is yet to come to the US a fiance, know that you would need to marry him within 90 days and then file AOS, HOWEVER since you are not married yet and you know something is seriously wrong, he can't force you to marry him. Meaning if the 90 days pass and he's still not married to you, he's out of status and hence deportable. I do agree though that's it's best if you could stop him from coming in the first place. Try contacting USCIS and the US Embassy that granted him the fiance visa with proof of your findings to see if you can have his visa revoked.

And fourth, I know it won't help you much at this point and it won't take away any pain, but know that everything in life happens for a reason. And as much as it hurts, you are actually lucky that you found out the truth now when things can still be reversed versus if you were already married to him, or even worse if you had started a family before he showed his true colors.

All the best!

Why do you think Moroccan marriage is a fraud. Do you have copy of it with raised stamp from Rabat? Google translator is really bad from arabic to English. and you call him your financee.

first I would ditch this financee if you have any doubts and proof

and next, I am so sorry this happened to you

Marriage in Morocco is not easy and takes a lot of paperwork and interviews. Did you go thru this and get medical exam and make 6 copies of all papers.

Birth certificate, passport, income, assests, IRS statements, copy of past marriages and dispostion of them thru divorce or death, birth certificates of all children, police certifcates from local governtment (all this you would have had to present and translate and copy 6 times)

They didn't get married in Morocco. She petitioned him for a fiance visa to get married here in the U.S. She apparently found out that his intentions were to come here for the green card, not to stay married to her once he obtained it.
