Hello my VJ family. Another question from me again :( . I was engaged back in 2007 and my Ex filed a petition for me but got denied in USCIS it did not go through NVC stage. Question no. 36 of DS FOrm -156 asked has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf yes or no? I am confuse because I know K! is a non immigrant petition? please correct me if I'm wrong. TIA. is it a yes or a no answer. ?

As you stated the K-1 is a non-immigrant visa. If it were me I would answer NO.
