I didn't see the skit, but I know it wouldn't help in the long run.

Quit b!tching about things that happened 150 years ago. That's a start. How many fields have you or your family been forced to plow for free?

in a rare break from my normal positions and having been raised in the deep south, I can tell you that de-facto slavery did not end until the 70's

It'd be great, for The Kenyan to fix the Race Problem, by paying The Reparations to the ancestors of the black slaves in the USA.

The sale of Chrysler 300's would go thru the roof. Maybe Detroit would be saved

It still has not ended. Illegal immigrants are exploited as slaves for profit right now, today.Their living conditions are probably no better than most slaves had in this country. (except for modern utilities which slave owners lacked also)Their payment would not equal the benefits given to slaves which were owned as property

It will never end until we require employers to comply with laws we pass to protect workers. The same people that want to "protect" illegal immigrants are the ones that want...

1. Minimum wage

2. Social Security

3. Medicare/medicaid

4. State Unemployment Insurance

5. Federal unemployment Insurance

6. Workman's Sompensation Insurance

7. Family and Medical Leave Act

8. Obamacare costs (oh...we haven't even got to that yet

9. Yada, yada

10. Yada

Then look the other way when employers avoid the costs of all of that, put the money in their pocket and exploit illegals who are not even "actually here". Trying to make them "legal" will just raise their cost without raising their ability or productivity and will cause them to become unemployed and replaced by more illegals.

Now I want all that stuff also for all legal workers, and I want more opportunity for legal American workers of all races and colors. So why do we all tolerate this so called "immigration reform" We do not need immigration refrom, we need to enforce the laws we have against employers

NO ONE mentions this one simple solution...not Democrats, not Republicans because all they are doing is pretending to be doing something, they WANT the illegals here to be exploited as slaves.

When we SLAM closed employers and property owners that explout illegals, they will stop exploiting them and the illegals will return to their home country all by themselves. Please, do not build a fence to keep them in.

OMG! rofl.gif

Y'know, there is a theory that if you divided all the money in the world equally among all the people in the world, in 5 years it would all be back exactly the way it was.

Any discrimination today seems to be linked to actions / dress more than anything. Its interesting that back in the UK, they have been called Chavs and they are predominately white.

I am very glad you said, "illegal immigrants"

Hey Danno, who built this nation? Who was in the fields picking cotton? Who raised children, took care of the homes, did all of the heavy lifting?

We've always been strong. What's worse is it didn't matter what we did, it's always been us against the world. When does that end? How much do we have to change to get equal footing?

Don't over flatter yourself, Blacks did not "build this nation", yes they contributed labor but no one claims Mexicans Built the Bank Of America building down town just because they worked on it.

I don't mean to minimize the contribution but lets be real, if a Million people from the Gold coast of Africa had got here first and claimed this place for their own....then you could say "They built it" but I suspect it would not be anything like the country we see today. Perhaps more like Liberia.

When I design, finance, organize and secure the resources to build a house .... how dare the hired help try to claim "he built the house".

My contribution was much greater and much more meaningful than his, in fact, to replace me would result in nothing getting done or something different all together.

To replace the worker changes nothing.

And trust me as one who has labored ....no doubt harder than many here, I never flattered myself to suppose the house or structure could not be done without me.

This country was unmistakably founded in the European model, in gov't, military, law, trade, Customs, Religion, architect and monetary, you are a thread in the fabric..... be proud.

You really should get that logic checked.

that was so racist reported

not racist. it's comedy. i would post more but he uses language most don't approve of.

dave chappelle calls out stereotypes in all races and makes us laugh over them. imo, honesty and laughter is the best way to get over this #######..
