What mailing address to fill out on forms to USCIS?

Hello everyone!

At this moment I'm preparing my forms to apply for an SSN. The good thing is that they accept an PO Box address as a mailing address.

However, the USCIS generally doesn't accept PO Box addresses as a mailing address and soon we'll be applying for my EAD and AOS after we'll get married.

We have both a PO Box address (for regular mail) and a physical address (for packages only; NOT regular mail - since that doesn't get delivered at home addresses in this area).

For this reason I have no idea what address to fill out on the forms when we'll send in our application.

When we started our K-1 process we initially tried to use a PO Box address, but a few weeks after sending in our application we got a message that our NOA1 came back as undeliverable.

Other people told us that the USCIS doesn't send mail to PO Box addresses, so even though regular mail doesn't get delivered to physical addresses in this area, we changed the address to our home address. We just wanted to see if this would work anyway, because these are the only addresses we have. Soon after that, we received another message saying our mail came back as undeliverable again. Eventually this problem got solved when we used our attorney´s office address for our I-129F application.

As for now, we are no longer involved with our attorney and so we'll only have our PO Box address and physical address to use for my next application.

I don't believe we're the only people with this problem, so I would like to ask if any of you knows a solution for our problem?

P.S.: Someone suggested opening a mailbox at a UPS store since they don't use PO Box addresses. Unfortunately the closest UPS store is about 2 hours away from us and we don't have a car.

I'm looking for another solution if possible.

I've never had issues with using a PO Box when sending paperwork to USCIS, so I'm inclined to believe that anyone who says "USCIS doesn't send anything to PO Boxes is sadly mistaken" since both of my NOA's were delivered to my PO Box.

I don't have an explanation as to why you may have had issues in regards to receiving notices but I will say go ahead and use your PO Box.
