:help: Hi all

I am a woman from Denmark and a nervous breakdown waiting for an approval from London DHS after filing waiver I-601 and alot of hardship letters.

I am now under pending at the list.

My problem is that for 13 years ago I was convicted and now CIMT.

My concerns now is that I don't have any clue if I will be rejected or approved and don't know how to think about my coming future with my american fiance.

Will I ever have any chance to be with him.

It's very frustrating and I need to hear about other peoples maybe same situation.

And hopefully be more relaxing in this waiting time.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Love Sweetie

HI Sweetie, it's hard I know as we are in the same position. My husband Alan and I are immigrating through our daughter who is the USC and although I was granted my immigration visa at the interview we had to file a waiver for my hubby, who is my daughter's stepfather for offences he committed over 28 years ago ;)

It's natural that you will be concerned that you could be denied but try not to worry too much, London has an excellent record of waiver approvals, it's just that it is hard to have to wait so long and not being able to do a damned thing about it.

I too am terrified that they may deny Alan but the immigration officer was really nice and said that he would highly recommend the 601 for approval but we still have to jump through a few hoops.

If you ever feel like you need to rant or rave or just want a chat, pm me or just post in here, I spend quite a bit of time browsing on here.

Keep your chin up Sweetie, how long have you been on the pending list now?

Only for few days ago I suddenly saw this visajourney website.

We have been pending since 19 of october 2006. So 7 weeks this coming thirsday

I am desperatly checking this London website every day since they sometimes update middle of the week.

But something must happen very soon.

How long have you been on the list?

Hi Sweetie

we have only been in the pending for 4 weeks, we are hoping that it will not go into the 12 week or beyond period which it certainly can do.

I could say try not to go on the site too much it will drive you demented but I am just as bad.

I really hope it is not too long before you hear something, I will be watching for any case completes from your part of the world

i thought they may have updated today with missing last Friday, but no such luck ;);) probably have to wait until Friday of this week ;)

Don't think we will see any change until Friday, but maybe, just maybe, they may have completed a few more with it having been nearly two weeks.

I wonder if they have any idea of just what they put us all through. :crying: yet again it is not their fault, ;) they have to go by the law of the land and immigration, just so hard isn't it

Hi everyone

I just wondered if somebody know how extreme this hardship have to be to get approved.

Mike and I don't have any kids together and too old to even thinking about it.

Our ties is that we need to be together because we love eachother.

The worse hardship we can tell about is that Mike can't leave his country because of having a son and not the full custody. She would never agree with this moving.

Even worser is that Mike would be treated lower in my country because he would have to leave a very good job and the barrier to learn my language would keep him away from having the same job here in Denmark

Also he would not have enough years to work here to save up to be retired.

It would really low his way of living.

I hope that somebody can chear me up with telling me the chances for us to be approved.

sweetie, wish i could help you and say that you would be approved and that it will all be over soon, but unfortunately, the embassy have us at their mercy and we all just have to wait it out. Wether your hardship letter was enough, only time will tell, but one thing that I have been told since before we had to file the waiver was that London are really good at approving these waivers so take heart from that and just keep your chin up  Try not to keep on thinking about it, harder said than done I know but it will happen and you will get the case complete and I pray that you get the approval

I admit that this waitingtime is getting me more and more nervous.

I am so so afraid of how they look at my conviction.

My attorney says that he is very confident with an approval so the only hope I have left is thinking that he have experience with this kind of appeal since he is so happy to tell me this.

Hi Sweetie

keep your eye on the list today, they may update it seeing as how the embassy have worked 3 days this week. There have been no case completes for over 2 weeks now so they are due to at least show some going on the under review list if not case completes, well, you would think so wouldn't you ;)

Keep you chin up as I said before Sweetie, you could have a few more weeks to wait yet, the site says the waivers take between 12 -15 weeks, so look at those timelines and if you get it sooner, well, that is a great bonus  And stop worrying yourself to death, you are going to be just fine I am sure

[The reason god put spaces in between your fingers was so another person's hands could fill it up.
