Hiiiii,

Hicham and I just got home and I wanted to say Happy Sunday!

Have a great day everyone!

Holy Moly, girl, what were you two up to?

Jackie, out of probably a dozen company holiday parties, I'd guess most ended in disaster of some sort for me. I honestly don't know what happens then suddenly someone has a meltdown, or someone drinks too much, or someone's fighting with their husband, or office fights come out.

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

Oh my gosh Doodle, you're really gonna do all that today??!!! I'm worn out just thinking about it. :P

But I didn't get my dusting done yesterday either. :D

My son and I watched Ant Bully last night. Cute movie. I love animated films.

We're going to replant some cactus plants today that we keep in the bay window. I've been saying that about replanting them for longer than I'd like to admit but that's my main goal today.

I doubt I'll get to the dusting.

I'm also planning on my son and I making some winter decorations for the house since I decided not to put up Christmas decorations, though if my son wants any Christmas decorations he can have some for his room.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

My plans for today....if I don't blow it all off by staying on this computer:

change everyone's sheets

put all stray toys away

organize the paperwork that is scattered throughout this house

DUST

rearrange furniture in living room and put Christmas tree up. (consists of fluffing it and plugging it in..it's a fiberoptic tree.)

put halloween decorations away and replace with Christmas decorations

do 4 loads of laundry

clean refridge and freezer

clean bathroom

do grocery shopping

make one casserole and two soups for the week

Hopefully I'll get all that done by 6pm so I can rest for an hour before I have my nightly cyberdate.

I'm exhausted just reading this. My list is just as long though! Maybe I will do one or two of these things

Typical Sunday. Clean house, laundry, go help my dad, grocery shopping, blah and boring. I did wrap a few presents today so the tree doesn't look so bare, that part was fun.

What I really want to do is go Christmas shopping, but certain things need to be done first and I doubt it will leave me time. I really hope my husband is here in time to Christmas shop with me. I want him to get a first hand view of Christmas here in the US. Hopefully he will understand why this holiday is so important to me, I am so grateful that he is open to letting me celebrate it like I normally do. Christmas to me has always been about family.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

We went to an English pub to watch a band and have a beer (or two).

Which is why I avoid all work related holiday parties.
