I have a question, its been around 5 months or so since I have seen my husband, and we are planning to have him come see me on a tourist visa for two weeks. he lives in london, but is not a pr, only has a work permit, but he's been living there for roughly four years now. i have filed a i-130 for him too. but we just want him to come to see me for two weeks, he has a job as Registered nurse there, bank account, and is renting for living. what are the odds that he will be approved to get a tourist visa? I am the USC.

What country is he originally from? He has immigrant intent, as a I-130 has been filed, which will makes things more difficult. But a denial will not affect the I-130, so you may as well give it a try.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

If he's a UK Citizen, is there a reason he can't come on the visa waiver program?

10/24/2012: EAD production ordered
10/26/2012: Interview in San Antonio. AOS approved!
11/5/2012: USCIS claims green card delivered, nothing in mailbox.

He appears to be on a work permit, not a UK citizen so assuming not eligible for the VWP

theluckkygirl - your chances are really going to depend on what country he is from and what ties he has to London
