USPS Flat Rate Box?

Due to my ~300 page package (and thus an extra large thickness), using a USPS Tyvek Envelope is actually more costly than using a USPS Express Mail Medium Flat Rate Box.

Would anyone recommend not using the flat rate box to file applications to USCIS? They said their express mail will go to PO Boxes.

Thank you!

USC and spouse went through AOS from F1

Now, removing conditions on permanent resident status.

Send Express Mail packages to the street address as per the instructions. If you're shipping it Priority Mail, then send it to the P.O. Box.

U.S. Postal Service boxes can, will, and do reach post office boxes. If it's cheaper, by all means utilize it.

Express Mail costs the same whether you send it to the PO Box or the street address. The instructions however, say to send Express Mail to the street address which will ensure that it's received in the timeframe that one pays for Express Mail to be delivered in.

We sent our applications in a USPS flat rate box and sent via USPS express mail to the Chicago Lockbox PO Box (with signature). Everything was received by USCIS the next day (we have signature verification). Total price was just under $40.
