we have been approved and i am leaving for scotland to go see my fiance tomorrow!!!! the next step is the I-134 papers that I'm kinda worried about and need help filling out.......I still live at home and make money with side gigs, such as dancing, shows, and catering. pretty much all cash in hand stuff.........ive seen posts where the petitioners parents have signed off for being the support. we have money saved and in savings but I'm pretty sure I dont have any way of showing I can be the main support without the help of my parents letting us stay here with them until we get our own place....help on filling this out plz!!! smile.png

I'm in a similar situation! Just got NOA2 on July 29th, I am a professional Trumpeter who gigs every week, and also a private lessons teacher with a decent # of students working from home and schools.... I have a substantial amount of money in the bank (far exceeding the $19K amount for a household of 2), own & have fully paid for an Infiniti G35 (~$35,000), but also still live at home.

Actually, I'm not sure what to put in the blank "i derive an annual income of..." because I honestly dont know. At the moment, I am trying to nail down trading FOREX but at the moment am having difficulty showing consistent income but because I'm quite new at it, do not have any records of profits from doing this at the moment (W2, 1099, etc).... so what should I put on that blank?

What I was going to definitely do was get a letter from Bank of America indicating my financial details, and make a copy of the title & proof that I've paid off my car.

  • 08/19/2013 - Manila Case # given by NVC (exactly 3 wks since NOA2)
  • 08/26/2013 - Manila Case # Hardcopy received, perfect timing for...
  • 08/26/2013 - Our 1-year ANNIVERSARY! dancin5hr.gif
  • 08/28/2013 - Post-NOA2 docs received (only 13 days!)
  • 09/02/2013 - Filed college credentials for CGFNS
  • 09/03/2013 - Paid $240 visa fee at BPI
  • 09/03/2013 - Mailed fingerprints to MorphoTrust
  • 09/04/2013 - Interview calendar (finally) viewable
  • 09/11/2013 - Releasing of credentials @ UPH
  • 09/12/2013 - Mailed off UPH credentials to CGFNS
  • 09/16/2013 - Medical Examination
  • 09/17/2013 - Immunizations
  • 09/18/2013 - Interview - VISA APPROVED!!! (< 5 months for everything!!)dancin5hr.gif

You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and useful information on the Affidavit of Support Form."

Hmm... so for people like me and Megbo and I, what 2 would we use? Does anyone know if the embassy is very strict on the 2 of the 4? Because from reading some of the interview experiences, they didn't seem too strict at all...
