K1 visa noa2 dated 7/15 still have no case no. or transfer notice!!

I applied for k1. Visa. My case was transferred from vsc to tsc in June and got approved on July 15th. Until today I didn't get any notice that the case is moving out from uscis to NVC yet. I also called NVC and they told me to wait for 8 weeks

Anyone here get the same date of noa 2 as me or later than 7/15 but already got the case no. or transfer notice?

Can we call uscis to check whether the approved case already transferred?

Nope just call once a week to see if its been received & given a case # .... Then ask tge date they received it also..

There were apparently some hold ups from sending the cases from TSC to NVC (I thought I read somewhere??) as we actually received notice when they did it, which surprised us as we'd assumed it must have gone already!

I would say keep calling, but equally like any of these stages of the process, a change could happen at any moment (like by the end of today - edit: or perhaps not, as it's a weekend - you could get an email telling you it's been handed over to NVC, if you set up e-alerts).

for the e-mail alert...is it the same place that we set up at uscis website to update the case? Now it only showed that my case was approved and noting's updated more than that.

Yes, you should get another update that it's been sent to Department of State. That is when you know it's actually sent to the NVC, about a week after that you should get your case number.

Hang in there. Don't despair. You should have your case number any time soon. Instead of calling the NVC and being held on for hours, its best when you send them an inquiry (NVCInquiry@stat.gov) including your case receipt number, your names and dates of birth. They respond to emails quicker and with a lot of clarity.

I still not yet receive any update via email tht the caee is out to dos. They may lost my case as it's already meet 3 weeks from the noa2 date. How sad

Yes, on this site http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis there's an option once you have logged in, to receive email and text notifications.

They told me it'd likely be 8 weeks. Hopefully they are WAY overestimating. It just seems strange that cases around (and after) ours have already gone and ours is sitting. I don't get why they'd ship at different times from TSC.

Today I got the e-mail that they shipped my case to DOS on August 6th. Plan to call NVC next week for case number.

I called NVC today and got the case no. It's transferring to my consulate yesterday.

Forgot to ask when they received.
