I buy the house at pennies on the dollar- The bank makes money again

I pay a person of questionable immigration status who works his ####### off to fix it up--He makes money

I then turn around and rent a HUD/Section 8 home that is costing me 240.00 per month , for 700.00 back to a family that lost their home -- I make money

The Govt then pays me the rent-- The taxpayer loses money

Now a family that does not work lives in a home that I make money on, the bank made money on 2 times, and the whole process keeps illegals working

As his employer, are you paying his social security? Workman's compensation? Unemployment Insurance? It's Federal, and state. Just because he is not documented does not mean he is unaware of his rights under the law.

The reason illegals are here is because someone will hire them. True. Someone will hire them because they are cheaper to employ than paying minimum wage and all the payroll taxes and benefits, workman's comp, FUI, SUI, OSHA compliance, etc. In other words...they are being exploited for profit and if the employer is caught the penalty costs less than the benefit in savings and the risk of being caught is low.

They are NOT hired because they are the world's best roofers. They are NOT hired because they will do work that LEGAL immigrants won't (what would make an illegal Mexican to do something a legal Mexican would not?) They are hired because the RISK is low and the reward is GREAT. Risk/reward analysis. The world's oldest profession, (prostitution is the world's 2nd oldest and came right after the first risk/reward analysis).

The ONLY reason to hire illegals is to exploit them for profit. Anything and everything else can be done by citizens or legal aliens IF they are compensated properly.

Making illegals legal will also make them unemployed. "Hey Boss, Good news! Obama made us legal! I have a green card now and you have to pay me more and pay my SS and Medicare and FUI and SUI and workman's comp and soon, Obamacare!"

As long as people will hire them, they will come. As long as the reward is greater than the risk, people will hire them. No fence can stop them.

The way (the ONLY way) to eliminate the "problem" of human trafficking and exploitation of humans is to make the RISK far greater than the REWARD. Hire an illegal alien, your business gets SLAMMED CLOSED, a padlock is on the door and the business is sold to pay the TAX levied for exploiting illegals.

No deportations needed.

The ONLY thing we need to do is make E-verify available to everyone and slam businesses closed if they exploit humans. Not only that, but it is the only thing that will work. We do not even need to make E-verify mandatory. Just make it available and SLAM closed businesses that don't use it. I am pro-choice!

Any other nonsense is just that. The fact is that Republicans want cheap labor that can be exploited for profit and avoid the labor laws which cost money, and the Democrats want future voters in a permanent underclass.

If we made it too RISKY to exploit illegals, maybe our black teenage unemployment rate would not be 41% while illegal alien unemployment rate is near -0-.

As far as the whole housing thing...we have this bizarre practice of privatizing profit and socializing loss. Just WAY weird! Problem is that audits are WAY too few and penalties are WAY too low. He gets audited, maybe a 1% chance of that if he makes a lot of money, and if he gets caught they make a settlement deal for the unpaid taxes and benefits and his P/L still looks great! They look the other way on the illegals and give them driver's licenses.

On the other hand, you slam closed a couple real estate businesses in Atlanta and confiscate the owners homes and property to pay the TAX for exploiting humans and Mr. Conciliator is going to change his tune!

It is not possible to deport all the illegals, it is not possible to audit all the contractors or employers. You have to make the penalty SO severe, so final, so "economic suicide"...that no one dares to do it. We do it all the time. The government has no end to incentives to get you to buy cars, new air conditioners, caulk for your windows even...they can force you to join Obamacare with a penalty, they can get the states to lower the limit for blood alcohol to 0.05%, or raise the drinking age to 21...but when it comes to illegals they get a complete brain cramp and cannot remember how to do that.

If the few (1%) businesses that were caught were slammed closed and sold off, the ramining businesses would comply. If there were no jobs, the illegals will self deport.

We cannot FORCE any of this. We cannot make a law to require any of this. We need to create a condition where people WANT to comply. Where compliance is the BEST business decision.
