Today the airlines would not give my step-daughter a boarding pass because they said her notice was written different that the main page for my wife. Have they not seen these before? Since the document is proof that her residence status has been extended by one year they wont let her fly. I don't know what to do!!! Can some one from the Nica Portal help??? PLEASE

I need to add that she was trying to fly from Managua, Nicaragua back to Los Angeles

Speak to a supervisor at the airline, and keep going up and up until you find someone who isn't an idiot.

I am getting nowhere with this. Is there anyone from the Nica family that has experienced this? The "Verification of Inclusion of Dependent" notice that was mailed directly to the dependent is being rejected because the dependents name only appears at the bottom of the form which was the Addressee.

Anybody with any experience with this please chime in!!!!

...well evidently just having the I-797 notice and the expired grren card in the dependents possession is not enough. USCIS conceded, after 90 minutes on hold that only the primary applicant receives the complete I-797 and the dependent has to have a travel doc (stamp in the passport) and only with that can she fly.

Sure wish I had known that prior so I would not have to pay the additional fees for a quick flight reservation for mom and daughter as well as the wait.

And here I thought it was the Nica system when it actually was the good Ole' US of A!!

Well now its to the Embajada en Managua they go...
