my husband and i had our interiew for AOS today. the lady who interviewed us just asked us the basic questions such as our name, date of birth, address, when and where we got married, name of our parents, how long we knew each other, etc. My husband and i got so prepared for the interview that we brought everything they asked us to bring to the interview. we even prepared ourselves to be asked very personal/private questions about us such as when and where did we go for honeymoon, when was the last time we had sex, what is the color of our tooth brush, etc; however, the lady never asked us those questions. i prepared a new I-864 but the lady said that the one they have on the file is already approved so we did not have to give them another i-864. My husband also did his I-693 because they said we need to bring that to the interview but the lady who interviewed us said the medical checkup he had overseas is still vaild eventhough it's been exactly one year already since all was clear and he has no medical issues. however she was willing to review my husband's new I-693 and when she did she found out that the doctor forgot to sign it. she told us that it is not an issue at this time since my husband's previous medical record is still okay. so what we are told to do is have the I-693 sign by the doctor and make a letter saying we want to include it to our i-485 file then send it to their office so at least they have a copy of my husband's medical record done by US CIS approved doctor. she said that she will not give as an RFE. instead, she will put our case on "continuous review" and we just have to wait for the final decision in the mail. what a relief. hopefully all goes well and that my husband gets his green card already.
