for example it's not required for you to dress up at a job interview .... but most of us do to show how Important the job is to us.

I attended the interview with my fiance. Not only was I allowed in - I was asked more questions than he was! It made it easier for him that I was there. While it wasn't easy coming up with the cash for the extra trip or getting the time off of work, not going just wasn't an option for me. Some person who has no idea who I am, 5000 miles away from me was going to make a decision on whether or not I get to marry my fiance .... you bet I'm going to be there!

It depends on your embassy. When we had our interview, I went. We could not go into the interview, but I could sit in the courtyard and wait. Now I have read, that you are not allowed into the embassy at all.

If you are not allowed in the room, unless you want to go there for moral support, it seems a waste as the interviewer will not even know you are there. For those that require your attendance, well them's the rules, and that is that. If your presence is optonal, now it is a judgment call.

Your story is a little similar to mine. I have known him since we were kids, rekindled our relationship 3 years ago, have been to visit 6 times, sent enough evidence (in my opinion), went to interview without me and he was asked to come back for a second interview and bring further evidence. I am going this time.

Educate yourself by doing some basic reading throughout multiple threads, embassy reviews, and embassy-info reports. Afterwards, come back and report your findings.

Think of it this way. You as the Applicant only had to submit and file documents. Not a whole lot of stress there. However, the beneficiary must appear in person during the interview. Not to mention, obtaining her background documents and medical documents. Talk about stressful. Especially if they are in a country where they are not main stream processes or broadband connected.

Do the beneficiary a favor, book a flight, collect all your documents, get on a plane, and be there for them.

Remember this, all the documents you filed with the I-129F, all the W-2's and 1099's, all the 1040's and tax statements are all familiar to you. THEY ARE NOT FAMILIAR to your fiancé. No matter how much you try to define these documents; there is always a level of anxiety related to an unfamiliar document.

Can you imagine, the beneficiary sitting across the desk at the interview. The interviewer ask let me see the W-2. He / she can not place the documents in the file. The interviewer gets impatient. Now, you have set the tone for the entire interview. Don't risk it. There is simply too much at risk here.

What??? Four trips, 32 flights, 100 pages of documentation, financial statements, etc., etc., etc. It's certainly been stressful for me.

My apologies XMen1.....I guess I see things differently. I rather enjoy the travel to see her. Why you may ask, because that travel is for "ME". Not my job, not my clients, not because I am told to. I do it for me and her.

Documentation, I see that as 1 step closer to the two of us being together AND more importantly because her and I can ALWAYS say " We did it the right way!!!!" No illegal alien here.

Believe me, I live in Texas. I can say that ENGLISH is fast becoming a lost language in this city. There are illeagal aliens all over the place here. I have no ill feelings towards them in any way.

Financial statements and tax returns....you have to do them anyway. Put a light on it. Now your doing it for a GRAND reward at the end. TO BE WITH HER.

I do not see any stress in this on my end. Yes, it is exhausting work. But when I get tired or frustrated, I only have to look at the photo of the two of us together to get remotivated. We have been apart far too long. So if that means, flights, documentation, phone calls and skype to get us closer that much faster. Then book the flights, fire up the computer, and give me the phone. I love my Bear (Bebe). There is nothing I would not do for her.

Stress on her end........You betcha she has stress as does any other beneficiary. I read many post where the applicant gives up, fake relationships, cheated others. That is stress. The other person is on hold, wondering what is going on, and wait for it, they have control over nothing. They control none of the documents until it reaches the US Embassy in his / her country. Now I don't know about you, but when I am not in control or informed, I go nuts. That is stress!!!!!!

I pray you have more peace dring the process your going through. I see that your at NOA2 stage. Believe me when I say this. You have not even begun the process. Wait until you go though AOS and obtaining U.S. Citizenship. That takes years to finally accomplish.

Sit back, relax, and remember one of the most important things. Your not doing it for yourself, your doing it for her. Your doing for the two of you.

its not required if your fiance is already in us nd for some reasons he/she cant be there at the interview... so dont worry you will be fine.. this is wht argentina uss embassy says ---> For fiancé visa applications, if the US citizen is in Argentina at the time of the applicant's interview, we urge him or her to attend the interview with the applicant.. so "if" i hope you got the ans.. good luck
